CHICAGO, Illinois: American Airlines may make changes to its future capacity plans if fuel prices remain elevated, CEO Robert Isom said September 16, while strong demand and higher fares have helped the carrier recover a substantial portion of the increased fuel expense.
Speaking at a Morgan Stanley conference, Isom said he felt "really good" about American's forecast for third-quarter revenue growth of 16 percent to 19 percent.
He also said he expected the vast majority of the airline's recent revenue gains to prove durable.
